TM Turbo : Wheel Lookdev

In 2017, I worked on Trackmania Turbo.

Was in charge of "The Asian Tunnel Kit" as well as Human Made Props/Structures [Big Wheel, Modular Antennas, Modular Traffic Signs], and the Iconic "Yellow Helicopter", that we see everywhere.

I worked with Francois-Xavier Delmotte to define the modularity than made all the according blocks from modeling to texturing and lighting.

Also worked on Vegetations with Stephen Magnardi [Goal was to achieve a dense forest impression, at low calculation time so we used billboards].

Challenges :

- Set top notch modularity system.
- Once reconstructed environment got to be credible.
- Photo sourcing textures. [Diffuse, Spec, Glossiness, Fresnel, Normal Map].
- HardSurface Modeling + Baking.
- Optimizing the data [Tri Count, Lods, UVS, Lightmaps].
- Set lighting on my own blocks so they could look nice in all moods [Morning, Day, Evening, Night].

The Art team was really small at the begining : 4 persons, than later on increased. [Fix, Stephen, and me].
